Slow Cooker Chicken Salsa

For delicious and spicy shredded chicken that goes well with almost everything then follow the recipe below.

4-5 lbs Chicken Thighs (Chicken Breasts work just as well)

1 Pint Jar of Spiked Papaya Salsa Hot (The heat mellows in the chicken but mild is also optional)

  1. Wash and rinse your chicken and place inside of slow cooker.

  2. Empty jar of salsa into slow cooker

  3. Let cook for 5 hours on low or 2-3 on high, use thermometer to insure internal temperature is above 165

  4. Using 2 forks or a mixer on low, shred chicken into smaller pieces

  5. Enjoy on your favorite dishes!
